Mobile Food Truck Units (MFU)
Operating a mobile food truck requires specific registrations and licenses, including a Mobile Food Unit (MFU) Registrations and Inspections. This registration helps emergency responders and other authorities have the necessary information about your unit to ensure the safety of both operators and foodies alike.
Once your registration is complete, the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) may complete an inspection and provide you with additional information to display on your truck allowing the ability for other communities to access proof of your registration and completed inspections. This process saves time and costs for both owner and AHJ.
